VORON is designed for a quick detection of concealed micro video cameras, including those with pinhole lenses.
The principle of detection is based on effect of light reflection or “return flare”. Thus, when a concealed target is detected, there is a bright red spot (reflection from a video camera lens) in the VORON's field of vision.
Detecting distance of concealed video cameras with pinhole lenses (diameter of 1mm) can be from 1m to 20m depending on operational conditions. VORON employs LED illumination of targets what makes it a safe-to-use device for operator (unlike laser illumination).
Operation on optical basis, but not radio frequency range, allows this device to detect any optical device regardless of its operating mode (on/off) and data transmission type (radio or cable). Therefore, a radio interference, electromagnetic shield, masking gauze or lens hood does not reduce the likelihood of detection.

- Efficient impulse source of power supply ensures a long operation time from one AA-type battery (1,5 V).
